Program

Boston ACE’s Independent School application essay coaching program is designed to strengthen students’ writing abilities.  This course is especially useful for students who are preparing their college applications.  The essay is a crucial component of a strong application. The essay coaches have experience working in the admissions offices of some very prestigious private secondary schools.  They share their knowledge with students, helping the students craft essays that truly stand out.  Our tutors will work with you to do the following:

• Market yourself as a cohesive package
  
  
• Brainstorm possible essay topics that will best showcase who you are
  
  
• Provide essay coaching to help you write a persuasive, thoughtful piece that presents your strengths and personality in the best light
  
  
• Proof-reade, help edit and polish your essay

Details

Students may sign up for an initial 60-minute session in which they will discuss their vision for their essay and their secondary school goals. Students should bring essay topic ideas to this first session. Due to the self-guided nature of the sessions, students should be prepared to spell out their concerns and troublesome areas so that the tutor may design a customized essay coaching plan to be conducted on an on-going basis.
