This option is for students who want to form a small study cell of no less than 2 and no more than 4 students. In the Semi-Private option, students are able to receive a significant amount of individualized attention from the tutor while learning from their peers in this small, cooperative learning environment.

• Tutor works with groups of 2 to 3 students at one student’s home or another nearby location
  
  
• Students may self select the members of the semi-private group or Boston ACE can match students up
  
  
• Length of course typically varies from four to eight 90-minute sessions depending on the groups needs and pace and the tutor’s recommendations
  
  
• Boston ACE will work to design a schedule and program that best matches the requirements of all the students within the semi-private group
  
  
• Weekly student progress reports sent to parents
