Boston ACE’s SAT preparation program has been designed with three objectives:

1. Increase overall SAT scores
   
   
2. Increase confidence in test-taking ability as it relates to SAT and other standardized tests
   
   
3. Strengthen content understanding and improve skills in the three areas: critical reading, writing, and mathematics

Tutors ensure students meet these objectives using the following curriculum:

• Emphasis on test-taking strategies for each section of the exam
  
  
• Students can choose which section or sections of the test they need to review and the tutor will structure the lessons accordingly
  
  
• Rigorous  “drill-and-kill” component designed to help students ace the SAT
  
  
• Weekly quizzes to assess student’s progress
  
  
• Homework assigned to reinforce class concepts
  
  
• Course materials include Boston ACE’s three volume SAT workbook series and a copy of the College Board’s SAT practice test book
